This new cooperative degree program designed to deepen the research and academic relationship as part of the growing partnership between the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Ohio State University (OSU) and the School of Electronic, Information and Electrical Engineering (SEIEE) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). The goal is to provide a framework for exceptional undergraduate students enrolled in the two institutions who seek a global educational and professional experience.  The program also provides an option for the SJTU students to obtain an M.S. degree at OSU.  This agreement represents an institutional collaboration envisaged by the general Memorandum of Agreement signed by the presidents of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and The Ohio State University in July 2010.

This program will enable OSU ECE undergraduate students to study at SJTU for a semester under the auspices of the College of Engineering at OSU.  This program will also enable SJTU students to obtain an M.S. degree at OSU. This novel program provides students from both institutions with the opportunity to gain global experiences by studying at the partner institutions, ECE of OSU and SEIEE of SJTU.
