-
For long-term accommodation, the management approach of “room reservation and accommodation prepayment beforehand” shall apply. The reservation is made on a time basis, i.e. by semester, and you shall pay the accommodation fee within the first week of each semester by debit card not in cash. The school will pay the charge if RMB cards with symbol “Yinlian” (银联) are used; students are required to pay the extra charge if non-Chinese cards are used. Only VISA and MASTER cards are available, the extra charge is 1.8%. The accommodation fee will be charged by deducting the amount of money from the individual accounts in Bank of China automatically by the bank after school starts. Please make sure there is sufficient fund in your account during that period.
In principle, you are not allowed to change or waive the room during reservation period. For the number of days reduced or increased due to the University academic calendar change, neither refund nor extra charge shall be made.
-
Pay a deposit of ¥800 to confirm your reservation (the deposit is used to offset accommodation fee).
-
For students who cancel the booking for personal reasons, the deposit of ¥800 shall not be refundable ((the deposit shall not be used to offset accommodation fee) and the actual fee shall be paid for accommodation from reservation day to cancellation day.
-
Exchange student accommodation shall be arranged by the school and the room rate be charged as per "exchange student room rates standard”.
-
The free period for accommodation-free scholarship students (who enjoy Chinese Government Scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarship or Shanghai Government Scholarship Class A etc.) is from three days before the registration day to a week after the graduation day specified by the university, while the accommodation fee outside the period shall be collected by day and as per the short-term accommodation standard (except Chinese language learners). Free accommodation shall not be provided during suspension or long leave (≥60 days), during which period students shall move out of the apartment, otherwise, accommodation fee shall be collected as per the short-term accommodation standard;
-
If you fail to make a reservation during the reservation period due to personal reasons, the school shall accept your reservation if there is vacant room. The accommodation fee shall be paid by semester. Additional ¥1000 shall be deducted for early checking out. Other matters shall be dealt with in compliance with Articles 1 to 6 hereof.
-
