Research
Kan Wang is a full associate researcher of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. She obtained her Ph.D. degree in biomedical and engineering from The Forth Military Medical University in 2008. After a postdoctoral fellowship at Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008, She worked as an associate professor at the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering of Shanghai Jiao Tong University since 2016. Her scientific interests are nanotechnology development of early cancer detection and screening equipment, molecular imaging and biocompatibility evaluation, and biological tissue impedance spectrum characteristics. In addition to cell imaging, her group was also interested in optical imaging and pathological imaging in vivo, such as the imaging of small animal tissues. She focused on the application of NPs (fluorescent magnetic nanoparticles, QDS, carbon dots and near-infrared upconversion luminescent, etc.) in the early detection of tumors, which can be achieved via both passive and active targeting strategies.
